What is a meet & greet and why schedule it? Can I book without a meet & greet?

A meet & greet is a required introduction to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety. It helps us learn about your pet’s needs and temperament before their stay begins. No, all bookings require a completed meet & greet first. Bookings without it may be canceled. Please contact us if you have questions or need accommodations regarding a meet & greet.

Please include all medical or behavioral concerns in your pre-meet intake form. We will work with you to provide safe and personalized care.

We will contact you immediately. If you cannot be reached, Raising Paws is authorized to seek necessary veterinary care to protect your pet's health. You are responsible for any costs incurred.

What happens if my pet requires emergency veterinary care?

All pets must be up to date on required vaccinations before their stay. Vaccination records must be submitted prior to boarding. More information is in the pre-meet intake form.

What vaccinations are required?

Last-minute bookings may be available depending on schedule and availability. A Meet & Greet may be required for new clients.

Do you accept last-minute bookings?

Each pet is evaluated during the Meet & Greet to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Please include any behavioral concerns in the intake form.

What if my pet doesn't get along with other pets?

We accept a limited number of pets at a time to ensure each pet receives personalized attention and care.

What makes Raising Paws different?

Raising Paws provides a family-oriented environment where pets receive personalized attention, daily updates, and loving care throughout their stay.

Some pets may be required to complete a short trial stay before longer bookings.

You will receive daily photo and video updates throughout your pet's stay so can see how they're doing and feel reassured while you away.

How will I receive updates about my pet?

We recommend booking in advance, especially during holidays and busy travel seasons.

How far in advance should I book?

For new clients, a deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking. Remaining balances, if applicable, are due prior to the start of care.

How do I reserve a spot for my pet?

Can I check availability?

All bookings require a deposit or full payment to reserve your pet's stay. Once the booking is confirmed, your spot is guaranteed.

When is payment due?

Are payments refundable?

Payments are non-refundable. Refunds are only issued if Raising Paws cancels the booking. Early pick-ups, schedule changes, or cancellations by the pet owner do not qualify for refunds.

What information is collected in the pre-meet intake form?

No. A completed pre-meet questionnaire required for all pets before booking to ensure proper care and safety.

We collect pet details (age, breed, medical info, behavior), vaccination records, and owner contact info to ensure your pet receives the safest care possible.

Are pets supervised at all times?

Arrangements for early or late pickups must be agreed upon in advance. Unapproved pickups outside scheduled times may incur extra fees.

We take every precaution, but pets may behave unpredictably. Owners are financially responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
